For the outer shell, we use a heavy-gauge woven polyethylene that is heat sealed to a poly coated aluminum foil for ultra-durability. At the core of the blanket we use low conductive synthetic hollow fibers, creating a tough thermal barrier. For the winter, SureTemp® cargo blankets work to trap the warmth, so temperatures of a shipment remain stable and above freezing for longer periods of time. In the summer, the foil layer is optimized to reflect the IR radiation (heat), and maintain target temperature ranges for the duration of a typical intermodal shipment.

The SureTemp® Elite-Performance Aluminum Container Blanket is designed to fit up to 53 ft. intermodal containers and OTR shipments. This product can be used separately or combined with other SureTemp® products for additional cold chain protection.
THERMAL PROTECTION:
Specifically engineered to provide radiant, convection & conduction heat transfer protection from both heat & cold. Provides excellent protection against temperature excursions in extreme ambient temperatures.
DESIGN:
The rugged design of high tensile strength & tear resistance insulation is complete with a durable, flexible PVC protective cover. Cover also includes a BOL window for shipping documents. Blanket is designed with foldable panels for easy unfolding/folding. Integrated D-ring rope and pull system makes installation quick and easy. This is an ideal product for re-use applications.
